Tuna

Bluefin tuna is a highly sought-after fish known for its rich flavor and buttery texture.

Valued in sushi and grilling, it’s a luxurious seafood choice enthusiasts enjoy. And with strict quotas, you can be sure it’s sustainable.

Large fish species that travel great distances such as swordfish and tuna have a complicated management system requiring international cooperation. In the northeastern US, swordfish is managed by NOAA’s Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Management Division.  We source most of our tuna from the area around Casco Bay, where it’s caught primarily from lobstermen via hook and line or harpoon.
