Lobster

Maine lobster meat is world-renowned for a reason.

Togue’s father was a lobsterman, so her bar is set very high when it comes to this luxurious crustacean.  These one pound packs contain claw and knuckle meat cooked in small batches and hand picked,  delivering consistent, mouthwatering quality in every bite. It’s ready to eat right out of the package (thaw first, of course!), but is also great in recipes such as lobster stew, lobster newburg, twice baked potatoes and more.

Management: Maine manages its territorial waters out to 3 miles.  Maine’s lobster zone management system is widely regarded as a rare success story: by allowing fishermen in each of the 7 management zones to weigh in on their own management, management is tailored to the unique needs of each area. From 3 miles and beyond, lobster is managed by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission.
